Beautiful heaven’s the City of
God,
It’s the eternal home for us,
Jubilant worship for all
believers,
Redeemed by the Blood of Jesus.
Beautiful heaven’s God the Father’s
House,
Where Jesus is in His Presence,
There will be perfect love and
perfect peace,
No sorrow nor pain in essence.
Beautiful heaven’s the place of
angels,
And they e’er see the Face of God,
They rejoice o’er one sinner
who repents,
‘Tis Glory’s mystery that’s awed.
Beautiful heaven’s
indescribable,
And prepared for us that love Him,
All God’s children’s
blessed promised hope will be,
And loved ones we’ll see and know
them.
Beautiful heaven’s where we’ll live
always,
And we’ll love and worship our Lord,
Face to face our relationship
with Him,
Will be glorious and adored.
Beautiful heaven’s Grand
Magnificence,
All I know it’s where I shall be,
One day when I’m gathered
up by angels,
Compassionate Jesus I’ll see.
