"Curiosity"
I am called a "Domestic" Cat
Fitting in well, with the family
Looking pretty, and "All of that"
And occasionally, I climb a tree

Usually, I mind my own business
While bathing myself, until clean
But there’s one thing, I must confess
Of "Curiosity" I am the King!

So fluffy, cuddly, and very sweet
I purr softly, when I am content
Picture pretty, from head to feet
Some think I’m "Heaven Sent"

I spend a lot of time, cat napping
I'm considered a "Minority" known, to rule
No barks from me, growls or snapping
I Just lay around, playing it . . . Cool

But, just let something come along
That is unusual or different, in any way
I begin to neb, where I don’t belong
Always looking for fun and play. . . .

Sneaking around, here and there
Sticking my nose where, I should not
And when I get, a great big scare
I run quickly . . . To my hiding spot

At times, I can cause . . . Quite a stir
Chasing a bird, or a bumble bee
Or unexpected situations, can occur
Filling me with excitement, and glee

It’s said . . . I am inquisitive, by nature
Yet, I don’t mean to create . . . Animosity
Maybe some day, there will be a cure
For us felines, and our constant " Curiosity"
