Discouraged.

Discouraged

Some days we wake to discouragement,
The same as yesterday.
We wonder how we should pray,
What God would have us say.

He's been faithful all our lives,
Even when hearts turned away.
His heart remained turned toward us,
His love did never sway.

His faithfulness is still true today,
We must trust with all our heart.
He knows exactly what we need,
From the time the day does start.

Our timing may be different from God,
And His we must allow.
He knows what is best for us,
When before Him we do bow.

He will not lead us places,
That His presence won't provide.
We must be patient and wait,
Remember He's at our side.

His power will enable us,
And His sweet love will embrace.
As we rise above discouragement,
And the new day we face.

As we feel His hand upon us,
There's nothing we can't do!
I truly know that he's walking,
Along with you and me.
