Empty or Full?

Do you feel that sometimes in your life,
Things seem to go amiss?
You can put your life in Jesus' hands,
Then, in your life and heart know bliss.

When we do not walk in faith,
And only walk by sight,
You may feel very empty,
But, God can make it right.

It's only human nature,
When things are going wrong,
To simply throw your hands up,
Instead of having faith and being strong.

There's no need to feel empty,
God's with us all the while.
Call upon the Name of God,
And on your face he'll put a smile.

Then there are those whose lives are grand,
And their lives always seem full.
They seem to just have everything,
And have that certain type of pull.

You don't have to be a millionaire,
But you must live in God and receive.
Because God gives us such great wisdom,
So that it's easy for us to perceive.

The Holy Spirit certainly fills us,
It's just like one big rush.
The Spirit fills and overwhelms us,
And all we can do is gush.

When you're full you won't have to worry,
Because you know God will get you through.
God cannot go back on his Word,
God's Love and Words are true.

So decide if you're empty or full,
It really is your choice,
Even though at times it may not feel like it,
Just listen carefully to God's Voice.

A full life's better than empty,
When you really stop and think,
Rather than living your life on empty,
And feeling like you're always on the brink.
