God didn’t make us perfect, we will never come close
But we need to watch our tongues if, as a Christian, we boast
We can’t continue cussing if God’s word we want to preach
We need to watch our language or how many will we really reach?

God spews out the halfhearted, they make him sick
So we need to choose which path we’ll take and choose it really quick
If you want to cuss and disrespect, and lie and cheat and steal
Are you really a good witness? Are you really being real?

You stand up and preach the gospel like you’re proud of it
But make sure that you’re not just another lying hypocrite
If you want to do the earthly thing, then go ahead and rebel
But just to let you know, I won’t be with you down in hell

Please don’t give the wrong message to people who do not know
If you really are a Christian, then in all ways it should show
Sometimes its hard, sometimes we stand alone,
But its all worth it, when our savior calls us home
